IT Plumbing and Heating is an independent, family run business, started by Ian Thomas, a Dunedin based tradesmen with over twenty years experience in plumbing, heating, drainage, water blasting and building maintenance.Ian started from the bottom as an apprentice, and has never been out of work since. His high standards have seen him represent a number of multinational companies on everything from large scale commercial contracts, to individual domestic projects. He established IT Plumbing and Heating Ltd in 2009.

Our work ethic is reflected in our clean uniforms, vehicles and considerate staff. We offer a highly personal service, from a small hardworking team, who care about your investments. Ian is the company's managing director and your first point of call when you contact IT Plumbing and Heating. With over 23 years experience in the plumbing and heating industry, Ian enjoys problem solving and the challenge of making something work that may seem too hard.
Ian has an addiction with Trade Me, always wheeling and dealing - in fact he has been banned on several occasions by his lovely wife, Casey.
Donald Mitchell - Plumbing Supervisor
Donald is born and bred in Dunedin, and has over 30 years experience in the Plumbing Gasfitting and Drainage services industry. With his wealth of experience and knowledge, Donald joined the IT Plumbing and Heating team in early 2016 to supervise the plumbing side of the business.Alan Taylor - Qualified Plumber
Alan born and bred in Dunedin, and has 10 years experience in the plumbing and mechanical services sector. With this wealth of experience and knowledge, Alan joined the IT Plumbing and Heating team in early 2012 to help manage the increasing workload. He relishes the opportunity to learn new things, and broaden his skill base that working for IT Plumbing and Heating has afforded him.
Alan is a volunteer in the rural fire brigade, and spends his spare time hunting, diving and rallying. Alan loves Dunedin, saying "it's such a small place that everything is right at your doorstep".
